Raise a glass to history at Woodchester Mansion with its new Brewery Tour and Uley Brewery Beer Tasting Experience - 3rd & 4th October 2026
Woodchester Mansion and Uley Brewery have joined forces to launch a unique new event this autumn, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the Mansion's historic brewery spaces before enjoying an exclusive guided tasting of locally brewed craft beers.
Taking place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2026, the Brewery Tour and Uley Beer Tasting Experience will combine heritage, storytelling and local flavour in an intimate small-group setting.
Guests will begin the experience with a guided tour of Woodchester Mansion's atmospheric Servants' Quarters and brewery areas, led by Dennis and Chris, uncovering the fascinating history of brewing at the Mansion and the role these spaces played in the building's daily life. Visitors will be able to explore the rest of the Mansion at their leisure before the event begins.
Following the tour, attendees will be welcomed into a dedicated tasting session led by Ken from Uley Brewery, where they will sample six of the brewery's core beers alongside a special guest beer. Throughout the tasting, guests will learn about the brewing process, ingredients and flavour profiles while enjoying one of the Mansion's most unique settings.
